Stationary Inspection of Factory Pipe Coatings – ISOTEST® act Industry Solution

For decades leading pipe manufacturers world-wide have trusted in ELMED ISOTEST® act in-plant holiday detector systems. Even the smallest cracks or pores can online be detected and displayed during the production process of factory coatings.

By means of high voltage this special test procedure allows both the spiral and circumferential testing of pipe coatings. Using the capacitive grounding method ("Phantom-Grounding" – only possible with impulse voltage) a fully automated testing is possible without direct contact to the pipe interior or the bare pipe end.

With the stationary ISOTEST® act testing system even damp pipes can reliably and material-friendly be tested for pores.

The high-voltage voltmeter ISOTEST® HV conti is the ideal complement for the ISOTEST® act series. It allows a continuous and precise measurement of the actually applied test voltage. In this way the prescribed values can precisely be recorded and documented.
