Stationary Inspection of Electrical Busbars for Energy Distribution Systems – ISOTEST® act Industry Solution

With the stationary ISOTEST® act holiday detector systems coatings for electrical insulation (e.g. epoxy) of electrical busbars in energy distribution systems can be reliably tested for cracks or pores during their production.


The individual adaptation of test and grounding electrodes allow the circumferential testing of bars with a rail width of up to 2500 mm in a single test operation – without contact to the non-insulated surfaces (capacitive grounding).


Defective current bars can be automatically marked by the ISOTEST® act STC spray marking system (optionally available).
